Red Castle Events is a trading name of Neon Monster LTD, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 13411584). Our registered office is 67 Newland Street, Witham, Essex, CM8 1AA. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy.

  • Bookings and orders: your name, email address, phone number, billing and delivery address, and details of the tickets and products you buy.
  • Personalised letters: the names and addresses you ask us to print on a letter and its envelope.
  • Enquiries: the details you give us when you use a contact form, email us or phone us.
  • Mailing list: your name and email address, if you choose to sign up.
  • Carer ticket requests: the proof of eligibility you send us, which may include information about health or disability.
  • Website use: technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, which our security tools record to protect the site. If you accept cookies, we also collect statistics about how the site is used (see Cookies below).

We do not see or store your credit or debit card details. Payments are taken by Stripe and PayPal, who handle your card details under their own privacy policies.

  • To take and manage your booking, send your tickets and event information, and post any letters you order. This is necessary to carry out our contract with you.
  • To answer your questions and deal with requests such as date changes.
  • To check eligibility for a carer ticket. We use this information only for that purpose, with your consent.
  • To send you news and offers by email if you have signed up to our mailing list. If you are an existing customer, we may also contact you about events, goods and services similar to those you have bought from us before. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email.
  • To keep our accounts and meet our legal obligations.
  • To keep the website secure and, with your consent, to understand how it is used so we can improve it.
  • Who We Share It With

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with the companies that help us run our events and this website:

  • Stripe and PayPal, to take payments.
  • Mailchimp, to send our mailing list emails.
  • Google, for website statistics (Google Analytics, only if you accept cookies), spam protection on our forms (reCAPTCHA), and the maps, videos and fonts shown on some pages.
  • Royal Mail, to deliver the letters you order.
  • Our website hosting and email delivery providers, who store and transmit data on our behalf.

Some of these companies store data outside the United Kingdom. Where they do, we rely on the safeguards that UK data protection law requires. We may also share information where the law requires us to.

  • How Long We Keep Your Information

We keep booking and order records for as long as we need them to run our events, keep our accounts and meet our legal obligations. Mailing list details are kept until you unsubscribe. If you would like us to delete your information sooner, please contact us.

  • ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
  • ask us to correct it if it is wrong;
  • ask us to delete it;
  • ask us to stop or limit how we use it;

There is no charge for making a request. Please contact us using the details above and we will reply within one month. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

Our events are for families, but bookings must be made by an adult. We do not knowingly collect personal data directly from children.

  • Security

This website uses encryption (HTTPS) and the data you give us is stored on secure servers. No method of sending information over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee the security of data sent to us electronically.

You may find links to third party websites on our website. These websites have their own privacy policies, which you should check. We do not accept any responsibility or liability for their policies as we have no control over them.

  • Photography at Events

We may use photographs taken at events in publicity and marketing materials, including use on our site. Your attendance at an event may mean that you are featured in such photographs and you are deemed not to object to the taking of such photographs as detailed above. If you do not wish to be included in any photograph, please notify the Event Manager / Director at the start of the relevant event prior to any photographs being taken.
